RESEARCH AREAS

Dr. Niemeier's current research focuses on characterizing GHG emissions and energy flows in complex systems. The research group also works in the area of transportation - vehicle emissions modeling at local and regional scales, including evaluating the connections between transportation and air quality policy. She is currently working in the area of governance and climate change, specifically looking at monitoring and evaluation of climate action plans. [more]
